A Dream Decades in the Making
Wagner’s Golf is a family-owned and operated business run by father-son duo Dave and Ben Wagner. A Boone, Iowa resident, Ben dreamed of owning a golf shop since 7th grade, writing business plans and presentations long before taking over the location. After working at the store’s predecessor, Golf USA, Ben recognized an opportunity when the previous business closed after 25 years. Partnering with his father, Dave, they completely remodeled the store from floor to ceiling in early 2019 to bring a fresh, modern golf destination to the Ames metro area.
